When I thought about the London exhibition almost all the images I had seen had been in black and white. I realized how much I enjoyed looking at black and white photographs. They are powerful and remind me of the tonal drawings that I also enjoy producing. I decided to concentrate on black and white for a while and see if it might help me focus on other elements like composition.
On the 25th January it snowed heavily, so everything turned black and white anyway. I'm not sure how well I did with my objectives, but I enjoyed trying to capture the feel of a snowfall. These are my four favourites from a night walk.
